These great Boots are Comfortable and Classic. They can be worn over Jeans, under Jeans, with Leggings, with a Skirt, Dressed Up or Dressed Down. We Love these Boots!

Clearly, from the many outfits we have assembled, it is evident we love skinny jeans and leggings for fall/winter. We have had several requests on how to wear this look. There are a few tips to keep in mind when assembling this sort of outfit. Below we have put together two outfits that resemble one another. There are a few things to consider when wearing these looks. In the first, we have a shorter, more revealing sweater. It has been paired with black skinny jeans to add coverage. Because the sweater is a bit shorter, we went with a tall boot. Even an over-the-knee black boot would work in this situation. With a shorter sweater, the taller boot are an additional way to add coverage and elongate the look. The second look has a longer and fuller sweater making a great match for leggings. Because of the length of the sweater we chose an ankle height style boot. Of course there are always exceptions. For example, you could wear a tall boot in either look depending on your comfort level. With the longer sweater we recommend a tall boot with a heel to elongate and therefor look more flattering. Mix and match and have fun. Fashion is art!

My intention was to find a military type jacket. One that was trendy, yet still feminine with a vintage feel. I decided to check one of our favorite sites, ASOS.com. Of course they had exactly what I was looking for. In fact, even better.
During my search for this particular jacket, I found myself in love with many more. From the latest trends of the military trench to the traditional Mac. Let’s also not forget about the gorgeous furs they offer just in time for the winter season. You definitely need to take some time and travel through their site. These coats are only a few of the many fantastic finds. The only problem I see is the difficult decision we will all have to make as to which one we will choose!

Fall has officially arrived, yet this week in Michigan the days have still felt like summer. Although the weather is warm, our summer clothes are officially put away and the fall wardrobe has taken their place. We did, however, keep out a few pair of versatile shorts to get us through this transitional period. Curious as to how we might wear our shorts in the fall? We dug through our closets, created some outfits and took photos of our end results.

Have you tried putting an outfit together that seemed to get a little “crazy” and over accessorized? An outfit that turns out to be a lot of fun and looks great especially on camera, however, you most likely will never wear out. I often find myself in my own world creating new outfits from old and new pieces in my closet. I also have a hard time getting rid of old clothes that I know I will probably never wear. I justify not getting rid of them by creating a new outfit with it.
On this particular day, I received this fantastic black leather skirt as a gift. I wanted to find some clothing in my own closet to create an outfit with this skirt. Jen and I were in our normal “girlie” silly moods and just kept adding things, mostly accessories. We decided to take photos outside. The rain was not going to stop us. I took out my Louis Vuitton umbrella and out we went. We were laughing so hard. My neighborhood is somewhat like Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives. You can only imagine what the neighbors may have been saying if they happen to have seen us. It didn’t help that when I bent over in my skirt it showed everything. I definitely need to wear tights with this one! You can top this day off as “girls just want to have fun.”
On a fashionable note, I highly suggest a black leather skirt and animal print shoes for your fall wardrobe! I wore a simple black tank, a ruffled cropped cardigan sweater in cream and a black blazer with mine. I would also love to wear this skirt with a cashmere sweater in gray or cream!

A few weeks ago we posted a blog called “Peaches.” In this particular post we created some outfits which included the color peach. We also promised you we would have another post soon which would include the color cream. In case you didn’t put it together, they would be called…”Peaches and Cream.”
We would like to apologize to anyone out there that has been waiting for the “and cream” to come. Jen and I have had a crazy summer, as I am sure most of you have all had. We are looking forward to school starting for our kids so we can focus our free time on JADA Style Guide. If anyone has any questions for us on something particular they are looking for or perhaps an outfit that you would like us to put together for you, please let us know! We love creating outfits and also love the challenge of searching for specific items.
We hope you enjoy these next few outfits. We tried to mix in some inexpensive items that we thought looked like higher end pieces. For example, the Women’s Chiffon-Charmeuse Tiered Tank from Old Navy looks fantastic with a great pair of skinny jeans. Personally, we ordered the tank from Old Navy and love it! I wear it with my J Brand skinny jeans and a great pair of heals. (FYI, the tiered tank does run a little long.) Pairing the outfit with dressy flats allows you to keep the outfit casual or dressy.
In the second outfit, I LOVE the Beyond Vintage lace front blouse. It is sexy, feminine and well detailed! The detailing on the blouse includes a lace panel, vertical pintucks, eyelet detailing, and scalloped lace trim. This blouse is also very versatile. Here we have paired it with a great pair of J Brand lightweight flare jeans. You could also wear it with a pair of black skinny jeans, a black leather skirt or with a pair of olive color shorts like the Les Halles Paper Bag Shorts
Finally, we have created an outfit with a few timeless and versatile pieces. This is great for a girls night out. The black J Brand pencil leg jean can be worn many different ways. Personally, I live in my J Brands! In fact, I have them on right now. The Jaloux Baby Doll Cami is simple yet elegant with fine details. The cami would also look great with a black skirt. The black patent leather shoes are timeless and can be worn with a dress, a skirt, shorts, jeans, legging or nothing at all. Just making sure you are still paying attention.
We hope you enjoyed a start to your new fall wardrobe! Happy Shopping!

We realize that it is difficult to think of purchasing leather boots in the middle of summer but trust us, these boots are well worth the purchase! Last fall we were in Chicago and noticed a few women with these Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. Immediately we became obsessed with trying to find them. Unfortunately our search was unsuccessful both in the stores and online. We were told they were no longer available but because of the high-demand, Mr. Weitzman was going to bring them back for the next fall/ winter season. Of course, we do not forget an obsession and YES, they are back in high demand!!!
